I think jealousy can be a powerfully constructive emotion.

While left unchecked it can destroy you, yet funneled into positivity it can drive you to greater things in life. It can be part of the fuel for your fire that causes you to strive to be better.

Or you can let it consume you and grind you to floor, powerless to do anything but hate those around you.

In this case I will take the latter.

I am jealous of people that get 2 capital letters in their last name.

Fuck them.

I only have 1 capital letter in my last name and it pisses me off. I think I am important enough for 2. Sadly I’m not Italian, Irish, or Scottish, so I don’t get it.

People with the following last names can officially fuck off;

This is not a complete list, just a starting point. If you have 2 capital letters in your last name I hate you and wish all the bad things in the world happen to you and you only.

So there you go.

There are probably other things in life I could be jealous about, but none of them share the importance of this issue.

Air America

Monday, November 20th, 2006

howdy there kids.

I have been writing for Big News Show in Hollywood for the 2nd half of this year. One of the sketches I wrote was joyfully performed on AM 1150 here in Los Angeles. That is the Air America station and in particular the Harrison on the Edge show.

In any case, here is a link to the radio bit that aired, go check it out! It’s cool!

That is all, let’s hear it for a rematch! GO BLUE!

Congrats America!!!

Good job to everyone yesterday for changing this country for the better.

In one voice you said no to the big government huge spending warmongering neo-cons.

Over the past 12 years the Republican party has been hijacked by an evil enemy within. Back in 1994 a new group of GOP came to Washington intending to clean up the mess, instead they made a home in it and rode it to deeper levels. The only thing they have been worried about is keeping their contributors happy and getting re-elected. Scandals like Abramoff and Foley only highlighted this message.

It was very interesting that the #1 issue according to voters was CORRUPTION.

It is also interesting that not a single incumbent Democrat lost their election.

Hmm, what does that mean, what does that say, hmm, I don’t know, maybe proof positive what I have been saying for years that the Republicans have become the party of cover ups and corruption.

Also interesting is how the GOP waited til today to fire Rumsfeld. To quote right wing friends of mine, isn’t that post-election timing a little suspicious? Apparantly Bush knew about the change a week ago and yet still publically said that he expected Rumsfeld to remain on for 2 more years.

What a shocker, Bush lied about something again. What is sad is we have gotten so beaten down by the disinformation that we don’t even make a big deal out of it anymore.

In any case, finally now there will be some oversight of the White House by congress, and no more rubber stamping of policies.

Finally we have people in place that will actually read the 9/11 commission and ENACT IT’S SUGGESTIONS instead of sticking it’s head in the sand.

And finally with Rumsfeld moving out and Dem’s moving in hopefully this will signal the end of an unholy, illegal war that has strengthened terrorism globally and gotten almost 3,000 soldiers killed, and another almost 10,000 more seriously wounded.

Let this be the start of change, because God knows it’s been long overdue.

Word is Bomb

It’s Tuesday afternoon.

Things here have been going well. Rent is getting paid, my bills are almost caught up, and I am loving my creative outlet at Big News Show.

I had the pleasure of meeting Emo Phillips at the show last week, that was a real trip because I’ve dug his stand up for so long. I mean, on my drive from Detroit to LA last year I actually listened to my Emo Phillips tape on the way. So that was way cool to meet him at the show, and to know he watched a sketch I wrote, cool beans!

I have submitted a sketch for this week’s show already today, hopefully it goes over and gets in. Now I hang until going to a wine tasting and then seeing the Borat movie finally. I’ll review that if it strikes me to do so.

In any case I got 3 days off in a row this week, so I shall attempt to make the best of it, any suggestions?
