Wow! I find this article to be highly insulting.
You know, funny guys get laid ALL THE TIME. That’s why most stand up comics you meet are so happy and well adjusted and in healthy relationships.
Oh wait, you mean none of those things are true? Huh.
Let’s face facts here people, women meet a funny guy, and he makes them laugh and brings them joy. Then she goes home and fucks the ski instructor/personal trainer/rock band guitarist.
If you are ever talking to a chick, and she busts out with the words, ‘Oh my God you are so funny!’ you already know that you will not be having sex with her, that night or ever.
Yeah, funny guys totally get girls, that’ll be the fucking day.

Hi, sorry to bug you again. I saw this post and wanted to give you my perspective, for what it’s worth.
You’re right that most girls go home with the assholes instead of the men that make them truly happy. I’ve found that this is often because these women would really rather be with who they THINK will cause their “friends” to approve/elevate them socially/be jealous (ski instructor/personal trainer/guitarist) than who genuinely makes them happy/is right for them (funny guy).
The upside of this is that it’s a good way to separate the sincerely quirky girls from the quirk posers who pretend to be oh-so-unique but are just as obsessed with how others see them as the cookie-cutter sorority girl. When you find that truly unique, sincere girl (and I believe you will) who doesn’t give a shit about anything but her and your happiness, you’ll both find out who your awesome friends really are and the rest of the world’s bullshit will fade out like an old sepia photo.
